Finca Palo Blanco is a small farm that is run by the brothers Tulio, Sergio and Iván Ovalle since 1990. El Corazòn means heart and refers to the central position of the lot on the farm. This lot is of great importance to the producers as it was the only part of the farm that still produced coffee during a production crisis in the 60’s. The character of this coffee is largely dictated by the region’s hot winds coming from the lower parts of La Democracia, making this environment ideal for producing exceptional coffees.
