Finca Montezuma lies in the hills surrounding the town Ocotal. Despite the relatively low
altitude of the farm, this coffee shows some interesting traits, mainly due to its variety.
Maracaturra is a cross breed between Maragogype and Caturra. Besides the high cup
quality, the varietal is known for its impressive large coffee beans coinciding with high
density. This makes it an interesting coffee for roasters to design a roasting profile, for
baristas to dial in, and for coffee drinkers to taste.
