Peñas Blancas is grown along the outskirts of Pitalito, Huila, in an area surrounded by ancient oaks, mountain springs and a vast forest reserve. The name translates in English to white rocks and it was given after the pale white peaks characterising the mountains all around. Peñas Blancas is synonymous with conservation, culture, healthy farming practices and community. Peñas Blancas demonstrates that coffee farmers can improve their life standards by producing quality coffee.
